What I learned with Community SErvice Volunteers

CSV has opened my eyes to a world that had always been there but I was too busy to see. Unsuspected roads are constantly discovered by the willing traveler.. The truth also, is that we don't always know what's in our best interest. I have learned to stop wanting to be in control and now allow life to take me where it wants to take me... trying to control what is actually not controllable at all is not a good bet. Those times I thought I absolutely knew everything and what was the best thing to do at any point in time, I was being deceived by mere illusions. I've never known and never will. Thanks to CSV and my experience in my placement, now I can relax, breath and do what I have to do one day at a time.
